Don't go looking for this anytime soon. Iomega
as a company produced shoddy products. Also, you won't be getting 300 movies per disk from Hollywood unless you want to pay about $4500 for that disc. Then what if it goes bad? I can see them (if the thing actually works) putting a series of movies on one disk, but part of what gets people to pay what they ask for special editions of DVDs is that there are more than one disk involved. -Rich RichA |

The point is not to put 300 movies on one disc, but to back up an entire hard drive on one or a handful of discs. -- "Oh, they have the Internet on computers now." I'd like to put an entire television series on one disc. Forget about
multiple movies. - Jordan Jordan |

Well, we're not speaking of stock/bonds/mutual funds here, so past perfomance IS an indication of future results. My point was, if their past performance was really that bad, wouldn't people catch on at some point? ZIP drives didn't decline in popularity due to failure, but to the advent of the CD-ROM, which was more convenient and had a much greater capacity. I'm sure you had problems with Iomega, and so did others. But to suggest that they're incapable of making something that works suggests a very closed and biased mind. If they never built anything that worked, they wouldn't still be in business. -- "I don't want no volunteers, I don't want no mates. There's too many captains on this island.
