I have the above DVD Recorder. I know that you can Chase Playback with it
but I cannot get the menu. I have bought DVD-RW disks (Sony) and recorded in correct mode (VR) but still cannot see this menu. Hopeless trying to get support from Sony. After sales is appalling. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Many thanks Chris ChrisB |

are they 2x speed dvd-rws otherwise it wont work and possibly you wont
see the menu item. There was a short thread about this a liitle while ago - and that person was using Sony dvds and the solution was to change the disc to a 2x ( not 1x or 4x) I use Maxell 2x that work ok. it should appear in the tools menu when you start recording ( after about 1 minute or so) On Sat, 19 Feb 2005 13:51:22 -0000, "ChrisB" <> wrote: >I have the above DVD Recorder. It doesn't actually say. It's a Sony DVD-RW for Video/Data - Version 1.1
with CPRM - that's all it has on it. But your reply is useful and I will assume (hopefully) wrong discs. Will tray Maxell. Many thanks for replying. What I don't get is several dvd recorders I've seen of the same dvd
format have the same speed name for different lengths f each other. such as one recorder has SP spped as two hours and another has SP speed as three hours, yet both recorders are DVD+R format. or both recorders are DVD-R format. dvdguy2@webtv.net |
