The phone rang while Ridwan Hughes was doing the ironing, resulting in
the 3rd degree burn to the ear, visible for all in uk.media.dvd to
guffaw over.

Oddly enough, the guy was right; You can use a lens from
a CD player to focus a DVD laser. You just have to bring it
in a little closer...

I thought it was rings?, more like a diskette.

Well I'm not sure but since this is useNet, that doesn't stop me from
answering anyway CDs have one track that sprials so I'd assume that
DVDs do as well.
