Default No Rated "R" AVP?

I had read that there was going to be a rated "R" verison of AVP, but every
store I've been to only has the crappy "PG-13" version. There's even a listing
for it in the special edition of Predator 2. So, what's the deal? Is it going
to come out later?

Fox are going to double dip on this one. Paul Anderson has been very
vocal about all the footage that was cut out. Be patient and soon enough
an "Unrated Directors Cut" will be in your hands.

Like the "Unrated Directors Cut" of Event Horizon and Resident Evil?

Actually, although not committed yet, Fox are leaning more towards
Blu-Ray, not HD-DVD.

You bet me to it. I'm still waiting on the RE one. Paul WS Anderson is just
full of ****. I can still dig up the articles on DVDfile of that ****stick
promising an uncut RE.

*coughs*

No word on whether it will contain an unrated cut or not, but it
certainly wouldn't surprise me if it did.
