dumb question
do dvd recorders disable macrovision? i was just curious. seems odd that
you can't tape dvd to vhs but apparently dvd to dvd is okay. again, forgive my ignorance. mike avera |

Most of them prevent copying any DVD protected by macrovision, whether it's to another DVD or to VHS. They don't make it easy to go from DVD to VHS, but you can take the output from the DVD and pipe it back into the VCR input. The macrovision will still prevent a good copy, but of course there are devices on the market that remove macrovision. -- Buford T.
