BURN-UP SCRAMBLE: ANGELS ATTACK ASSAILANTS! (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by
Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 60/100):
"One episode wastes a good ten minutes on Rio's attempts to save a kitty
who's fallen down a well, and it's clear this is just a contrived way of
providing an up-skirt shot. Gee, how clever."

EX-DRIVER: THE MOVIE (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall
score 80/100):
"Yeah, it's just as goofy as it sounds, but it's also kinda fun; the
story's thin, and it's really nothing more than an excuse to throw in a
bunch of car chase scenes, but they're really cool (to say nothing of
preposterous) car chase scenes."

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM F91: THE MOTION PICTURE (reviewed by Mitchell
Hattaway, overall score 70/100):
"Familiar as it may be, though, Gundam F91 is an enjoyable, reasonably
well-executed addition to the Gundam mythos. It's fast-paced, chockfull
of good action and battle scenes, and doesn't take itself too
seriously."

SUBMARINE 707R: THE MOVIE (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall
score 50/100):
"Submarine 707R is a boring, cliched, been-there, done-that anime tale.
The story, characters, and hardware are all entirely too familiar. I was
constantly reminded of Star Blazers while watching this. You know -- old
ship, untested crew, wise old captain, hotshot youngsters; heck, the 707
even resembles the Argo."
