Default Surviving Christmas: Ben Affleck's Masterpiece?

It's no secret that Ben Affleck is a lousy actor and that he has
appeared in nothing but flops for the last few years. Even though the
latest batch of Ben Affleck movies, such as _Jersey Girl_, _Paycheck_,
_Gigli_, _Daredevil_ and _The Third Wheel_ were bad, they weren't BAD!!!
If a move is BAD!!!, it becomes a cult classic and people watch it
because it is so bad that it's funny.

I know that _Surviving Christmas_ is bad, but is it BAD!!! ? In order to
be BAD!!!, a movie must be a sincere, major Hollywood production that
achieves a level of sustained awfulness necessary to elicit laughter. Is
the script of _Surviving Christmas_ absolutely dreadful and the acting
embarrassing to watch? Is the movie terrible beyond belief?

It appears that _Surviving Christmas_ enjoys the distinction of having
"the shortest period of time (less than nine weeks) between its
theatrical debut and release on video than any other major release film
in Hollywood history."

Additional trivia about _Surviving Christmas_:

* The production was shot without a completed script. As a result, there
were many delays and arguments over what to shoot. Actor James
Gandolfini admitted in behind the scenes interview that most of the film
was "improvised".

* The original Christmas 2003 release date was pushed back ten months,
to avoid competing with another Ben Affleck film, Paycheck (2003).
Because of this, there's a 2003 calendar hanging in Brian's bedroom,
near the door.

With the exception of a couple of shill pieces, the reviews are all like
these:

"With a movie this bad, you can be sure the DVD will be out before
Christmas, just in time to give to someone that you really, really don't
like."
-- Glenn Whipp, LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS

"A movie you watch with a half-cringe on your face, waiting to see
the lengths to which Affleck will humiliate himself."
-- Craig Roush, KINNOPIO'S MOVIE REVIEWS

"It is, from conception to execution, an unalloyed, unqualified,
unmitigated disaster."
-- Carrie Rickey, PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER

"With the release of this wretched film, star Ben Affleck takes one
more ragged step in what seems his death march from leading man to
celebrity game show guest."
-- Thomas Peyser, STYLE WEEKLY (RICHMOND, VA)

The reviews are all BAD!!! But is _Surviving Christmas_ just another bad
Ben Affleck movie, or is it BAD!!! enough to become a cult classic?
