I think the person who said that the suggestion to go with AMD was helpful was
merely being sarcastic. - Reinhart

The PC ('s - now 3 pcs) is all new, ad one of them is bought with XP home,
upgraded to XP pro and have the PP1.5 trial.

In fact there is a few applications, Nero, PowerDVD, bluetooth, and nothing
much more.
No AV since the putters is in a closed network without Internet.

Our video PC's are in a closed network without Internet and AV.

Now, there wasn't much to close. The one PC have 1.5 GB ram and still close
PP down, when I want to render a file.

I would forget about upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro. First I'd make sure
that I had all of the drivers I'd need (modem, video card, etc...), then I'd
reformat my hard drive and then just load in XP Pro. I'd also ditch the
tiral verson of PP 1.5 and go with the full version. You can probably find
one on Kazaa. This should eliminate your problem.

Not on a company PC. We will buy the software if it works
