Bush Voted Year's Top Film Villian LONDON (AP) - Readers of a British magazine have rated President Bush the year's top screen villain, for his appearance in Michael Moore's documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11." Bush beat out a shortlist of fictional film bad guys, including the nefarious Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina, in "Spider-Man 2"; cannibalistic Leatherface in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"; Andy Serkis' creepy Gollum from "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy; and the eyepatch-wearing assassin played by Daryl Hannah in "Kill Bill: Vol. 2." Almost 10,000 people voted in the poll, conducted by Total Film magazine. Results were announced Wednesday. "It is possible that people have been a little bit tongue in cheek here, but they are also saying that Bush was very scary in 'Fahrenheit 9/11,'" said the magazine's editor, Matt Mueller. ------- "Too many O-B-G-Y-N's aren't able to practice their, their LOVE with women all across this country." -- George W. Bush, campaign speech, 9/06/04 ------------------------------- "You know, I think about Missy Johnson....Her husband PJ got killed. He'd been in Afghanistan, went to Iraq. You know, it's hard work to try TO LOVE HER as best as I can, knowing full well that the decision I made caused her loved one to be in harm's way. " -- George W. Bush, first presidential debate, 9/30/2004 ------------------------------ "Need some wood?" -- George W. Bush, second presidential debate, 10/08/2004 Crankkkie |

Just goes to show you what a warped view some people have. To them, Bush is
the evil one while Saddam and Bin Laden are good people. Whats ironic is how much the perception of Bush parallels the view people had of Abraham Lincoln when he was president, and it was not favorable of Lincoln. However, he continued to do what was right, just as Bush is, and is now revered as one of the if not the greatest president. I believe Bush will be looked upon as one of the great presidents 50-75 years from now in history books. -- RnR Lesnar It's True, It's True- Kurt Angle Bush/Cheney 2004 RnR Lesnar |

If I had said this about Lincoln in the 1860's, I would have been asked the same question. People do not understand what a detrimental effect a "President John Kerry" will have on this country and the rest of the world. -- RnR Lesnar It's True, It's True- Kurt Angle Bush/Cheney 2004 RnR Lesnar |

Just goes to show you that some morons can't get it through their thick skulls that just because someone thinks Bush is bad, it does *not* mean that they therefore think "Saddam and Bin Laden are good people". -- jayembee jayembee |

Bush will be regarded as one of the worst things to happen to the country ever. Justin |

That's your assumption. Bush's track record of one screw-up after another doesn't exactly inspire confidence. It's not hard to imagine what four more years of Bush would be like. At least with Kerry there's some justification for a little optimism. -- Buford T. Justice The alt.video.dvd faq is located at: http://aww-faq.org/dvdfaq.html FAQmeister |

I don't care for Bush...but Kerry is scarry....a puppet of the Democratic political machine with no accomplishments in leadership. luminos |

It's called a "false dilema". You either love bush or you love the terrorists in his "warped view". Glad I don't live in amerikkka. Mook23 |
