I'm pretty sure that's where I saw it. I recall being so jazzed when I
spotted that book in the store, I must have read it cover to cover five or
six times.

The connection being Mork from Ork - originally a guest star spot on
Happy Days before Mork & Mindy.

The problem with this line of reasoning is that if you accept it, you will
have to question whether TOS is in the same universe as TNG, DS9, Voyager,
Enterprise. In fact, you may start questioning whether the same characters
in different episodes of one series are from the same universe!

I don't know about that, but I know that The X-Files
and Law & Order are set in the same universe, because
both had crossovers to Homicide.

What episode of X-Files crossed over with Homicide?
I find this doubtful, as they were on different networks.

It wasn't a crossover per se, but the XF episode "Unusual Suspects"
was set in Baltimore, and it guest-starred Richard Belzer as his
HOMCIDE (and now L&O) character Detective Munch.

I have the paperback, but it only had "Visit to a Strange Planet
Revisited" in it, not the original "Visit to a Strange Planet".

Right, which gave rise to the term "Munchiverse" to describe the
universe those shows inhabit, and has now been expanded to over 60
programs, if memory serves.
