I dont think it will make any difrence to people who copy dvd,s, If
thy are going to copy them nothing will stop them, Even if the dvd
degrades after time thy will find some way of prolonging there shelf
life.

i was thinking of vacumm sealing them...but air might be a catalyst and
vacuum wont stop the degredation of the dvd.
