Default Forbidden Zone DVD Problem?

The new DVD release of Richard Elfman's "Forbidden Zone" looks like it has
some great bonus material, and this was a favorite cult film of mine when I
was in college. Unfortunately, I was unable to access any of the extras on
either my computer or my DVD player. For example, when I select
"Documentary" and other bonus features the player cannot read the disc. The
film itself plays OK. Has anyone else yet played this disc? If so could you
please post whether or not you had any problems with it?

I manage a <insert corporate video retail store that if I mention will cause
people to complain and whine about> store and we got a memo a few days ago
telling us to make sure we didn't put it on the shelf and send it back ASAP
because the disc is defective.

All the memo said was that it locks up when trying to access the special
features. No word on a re-pressing though.

It's not your player, it's the disc.

I googled the manuafacturer and found at http://www.fantoma.com/fantoma.html

<<It has come to our attention that a small batch (estimated 500-1,000)
FORBIDDEN ZONE DVDs are defective due to a replication fault. On certain
discs, the special features will not play. This is not an authoring or disc
deterioration problem, so if your disc currently works on your player(s) you
have no reason to be concerned. For those with defective discs kindly mail
them to:

Forbidden Zone Replacement
Fantoma Films
916 Kearny St.
San Francisco, Ca. 94133

PLEASE SEND ONLY THE FORBIDDEN ZONE DISC AND NOT ITS PLASTIC CASE.>>

Guess that confirms it! Thanks.
