Mechanical Problem on DVD drive

HI

I've got a Grundig HDV620HTA DVD home entertainment System, it's cheap
but I quite like the in built amplifier whilst using it to listen to
normal TV.

But the DVd drive on it has a mechanical problem.

The problem(s) are:

When no DVD is on the caddy and you press the eject but...it doesn't
always eject. it clicks and sounds like it's making an effort to eject.
This can happen 4-5 times in a row and then when you press it it might
just eject.

It's pauses sometimes while playing back a DVD.


Both these faults arised at the same time that's my only reason for
linking them.

If anyone can answer this questions I would really apppreciate it.
