dts ld/dvd tracks of alien 4

I just did a a/b comparison of the ld dts and the dvd dts track of alien 4. The
ld dts track beats the crap out of the dts dvd track. I've done a lot of a/b
comparisons of dolby digital and dts tracks of the same film titles and always
the laser disc is victories. Has anyone else experimented with this?

How carefully do you level-match the two sources? To within what tolerance?
