Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of CRIMETIME, DEVIL WINDS, ENTRAILS OF
A VIRGIN, HARUM SCARUM, HOW I GOT INTO COLLEGE, MIRROR OF DEATH, RED
SONJA, SHARK, SIDE OUT, and YOU GOT SERVED:
CRIMETIME (reviewed by George Hatch, overall score 30/100):
"Crimetime has no focus. The meandering pace and lack of character
development gave me the impression Somers had no clear concept of what
to do with the material and was simply improvising as he went along."

DEVIL WINDS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 63/100):
"You see their greed has blinded them to the threat of biological
holocaust; they are willing to forfeit their humanity, trade the safety
of millions for their own selfish ambitions, and it is a choice that
will leave their very souls as dark and consuming as the ferocious
maelstrom that approaches. "

ENTRAILS OF A VIRGIN (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 64/100):
"And when I say near-pornography, I'm talking one microstep down from
hard-core, and light years beyond anything Cinemax can offer you. Fluids
fly, unorthodox body contortions are implemented, and breasts upon
breasts abound. If it weren't for the Japanese 'fogging' rule (where all
scenes of frontal nudity below the waist, as well as any kind of pubic
hair must be censored by all films, under penalty of law) you'd be
dealing with an extremely low-budget Japanese porno."

HARUM SCARUM (reviewed by Dennis Prince, overall score 48/100):
"There are plenty of Harum Scarum apologists around, I've found, who
try to assert some merit to this loathsome entry in the King's film
repertoire but their protests are unfounded; this film is painful to
watch and it clearly appears that Elvis himself is pained throughout
the ordeal."

HOW I GOT INTO COLLEGE (reviewed by Dan Mancini, overall score 68/100):
"How I Got Into College is little more than a sub par redo of the
exponentially superior Better Off Dead -- it's got some of the wit but
none of the soul."

MIRROR OF DEATH (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 52/100):
"In the 1940's, some doctors performed a procedure called a
'transorbital lobotomy,' in which a surgical knife is inserted above the
eyeball and then moved to slice the brain fibers. The 2004 equivalent is
watching Mirror of Death."

RED SONJA (reviewed by Neil Dorsett, overall score 36/100):
"This may not be the first movie to make you beg for the drawing and
quartering of a child onscreen to continue to completion -- but by god
it'll be among the movies that make you do that."

SHARK (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 70/100):
"The most famous part of Shark is probably its infamy. While filming
the dangerous underwater shark scenes, a stuntman was killed. It's a
shame really, that this guy had to give his life for a fairly
unimpressive movie."

SIDE OUT (reviewed by Lacey Worrell, overall score 35/100):
"Watching Side Out is kind of like eating a bag of greasy pork rinds.
You know it's really, really bad for you, but you just can't tear
yourself away."

YOU GOT SERVED (reviewed by Eric Profancik, overall score 65/100):
"If you want another serving of the same ole same ole, then step up for
You Got Served; you'll be treated to an ill-conceived, poorly executed,
lazy film with plenty of been-there-done-that."
