ENTRAILS OF A VIRGIN (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 64/100):
"And when I say near-pornography, I'm talking one microstep down from
hard-core, and light years beyond anything Cinemax can offer you. Fluids
fly, unorthodox body contortions are implemented, and breasts upon
breasts abound. If it weren't for the Japanese 'fogging' rule (where all
scenes of frontal nudity below the waist, as well as any kind of pubic
hair must be censored by all films, under penalty of law) you'd be
dealing with an extremely low-budget Japanese porno."

"There are plenty of Harum Scarum apologists around, I've found, who
try to assert some merit to this loathsome entry in the King's film
repertoire but their protests are unfounded; this film is painful to
watch and it clearly appears that Elvis himself is pained throughout

"In the 1940's, some doctors performed a procedure called a

"The most famous part of Shark is probably its infamy. While filming
the dangerous underwater shark scenes, a stuntman was killed. It's a
shame really, that this guy had to give his life for a fairly
unimpressive movie."
