the problem im having is that i can logon to my home domain fine but cannot
receive any group policy settings from the server as due to using wireless it
doest enable the connection to the server until i get to the desktop - which

Is there a registry fix or something to actrivate the wirless connection

You need to have a WLAN client that support Single Sign On (SSO) and has
part of its functionality delivered a system service and GINA DLL module.
The default WZC client in Windows supports SSO on domains.
