Default Any way to copy a photo from a DVD extra?

Hi, I'm a techno-dolt and could use some help if anyone knows the answer. I
found a photo on a supplement to a Criterion DVD that I would like to copy.
Right clicking only brings up the DVD player menu, not the usual "Copy picture"
menu. Is there some way to copy the picture to my hard drive in a JPEG or BMP
format? TIA for any help.

Most PC DVD players have a screen capture function.
RTFM.

Wouldn't PrintScreen work? (hit PrintScreen key on keyboard, paste into
graphics program of your choice)

Thanks for your flame-free response, Joanne. We actually tried that first, but
it was really strange--the Criterions must have some sort of copy protection on
them, because even though the picture appeared once we pasted it into Word or
Paint, once we closed the DVD playing software, the pic disappeared! The
vidcap feature that was recommended is the only thing I got to work.
