DVD Player Picture Problems

All of a sudden I have a vertical maladjustment. It just keeps traveling
from top to bottom very fast. Can't even read the setup menu it's so bad.

it sounds to me like your tv is ntsc and you accidentally set your dvd player
for pal format instead of ntsc. (or vice versa).

I'm not sure how the menu choices are on the 500, so I unfortunately can't help
you there. Unless you mean the 1500 dvd recorder, which I do have.

If you do mean the 500, maybe someone else in the newsgroup can tell you the
menu choices. (which buttonss to push to get it back to ntsc).
