Default Is there going to be a Matrix box set?

I've been holding off buying the Matrix DVDs, since I figured they'd put out
all three in a tasteful attractive sleeve. But it doesn't seem that they're in
a hurry to do that.

Probably since they can't give away the last two movies they may aswell box
them up a pretty set.

Guess again. There's talk of some ridiculous 10-disc set coming in
R2, and I think headed our way. Now, I wouldn't mind a handsome case
with the three movies, The Animatrix, and The Matrix Revisited, but
where do you stop? I just got the individual discs, but am thinking
of getting the first one bundled with the Matrix Revisited, which was
supposed to be good. Reloaded extended by 55 minutes? Gimme a
break...

The US set is expected to be similar.

Maybe they'll use the 55 minutes for the story they've seem to
forgotten in the theatrical release.

The Warners and the Wachowskis will probably try milking this dead
pseudofranchise for a while longer, until it's completely dry - then
they'll release an "ultimate" box set with 12 DVDs of nothing. Which is
what the films essentially were.

I thought that they could lop 55 minutes *off*, without ruining anything.
