I have just noticed that some vendors on PriceWatch are selling a LG
GSA-4120BB oem which they say writes to DVD+R at 12x and DVD-RAM at 5x.
I can not find any information about these drives on the LG web site.

Has anyone bought one of them yet? Do they write to standard DVD-RAM at
5x or do they need special media? Do they write at 12x on any 8x or 4x
DVR+R media?

Does anyone sell a retail version of this drive? All I can find is the
oem. Thank you in advance for all replies.

I just heard a TV commercial about an automobile that has a rear
entertainment system. I immediately wondered exactly how would an
automobile entertain one's rear and would it be safe to drive while
one's rear was being entertained.

You might see if the LG GSA-4120B is the same one as the BB one you saw.
