Default Report BI violations by DVD Verdict and Genre Online

I have now reported these two spammers for exceeding the
BI and I encourage others to do the same.

Both Mike Jackson aka DVD Verdict aka AM
and Mark A. Rivera aka GENRE ONLINE.NET aka ospam
are guilty of exceeding the limits imposed by the Breidbart Index (BI).

This is NOT a commercial group, and yet these spammers post
messages several times a week that have no purpose other than
to drive traffic to their web sites. I've reported them for that and
asked
that others do the same. They should have been stopped by now, if for
no other reason than the fact that they have violated the terms of
the Amazon Associate agreement.

However they are still posting. Perhaps their service providers are
just slow or they have been misled by the few vocal supporters that
the spammers have in this group. Whatever the reasons for the
inaction so far, complaints about BI violations will get some action.
And the more people who file complaints the better.

A BI of 20 or greater over a 45 day period qualifies
as spam. When calculating the BI, posts consisting of little more
than links to a DVD review site are an example of
"substantively identical articles" that are
"advertising the same service" i.e. a DVD review web site.

See:
http://www.stopspam.org/usenet/mmf/breidbart.html
"These are examples of substantively identical articles:
....advertising the same service"

Here are the abuse addresses:

Mike Jackson aka DVD Verdict aka AM

Amazon ID: dvdverdict

Mark A. Rivera aka GENRE ONLINE.NET aka ospam

Here is a list of their message ID's and the dates they were posted
that prove both individuals have exceeded the BI:

I guess that for some people, the prospect of gaining a life is simply to
frightening to contemplate. They might actually be presented with the
opportunity to do something that actually makes a difference.

For a while I thought this was a spoof by Waterperson77, but looks like
this is the real thing .

Or perhaps nobody cares as much as you do about this crusade. If you're
going to put all this effort into something, why not try something more
productive? Motivation seems to be one of your good traits; a more
meaningful cause might gain something from your support...

If he is going to gripe about people spamming, I wish he would stop
doing it himself. Report the heck out of them if you wish, but don't
tell us about it.

I guess you must not have accomplished all that much if you have to keep
hammering away eh FalseFAQ?

Just as you're guilty of attempting to assume that you have any right to
author a FAQ and then pass that FAQ off as official in your complaints.
This is the true indication of your character, or lack thereof. You use
fraud to get your way.

FalseFAQ, you're noise not signal.

Pity that you care so little for your crusade that you're not able to step
up. But that would require true conviction, something cowards simply do not
have. You have emails and a Google history, I have phone calls and YOUR
Google history.

You'll also find that people that have already been pointed out to be kooks
will find their emails bitbinned. Ask someone that has worked many years in
hosting what they do with emails from known kooks.

Thanks, sent them more emails referencing my previous phone calls.

Thanks again!

Here is a list of positive contributions that FalseFAQ has made prior to his
crusade taking wing...

....crickets...

Well, there ya go.

No it's not. Pushing this false FAQ is one of the reasons your complaints
on NOT BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY by those that matter, and to further your
education, those that matter are the ones that can turn accounts off.
You're a fraud FalseFAQ and as long as you continue IN THIS MANNER I will
take much pleasure in making sure that you're never taken seriously by
anyone that matters.

I don't care for spam. I don't care for link spammers, on topic or not. I
spend much of my day dealing with idiots that think the net exists for them,
FalseFAQ being a prime example of that type. The one thing I care for less
is some moron coming into a group, slapping on a 25 cent sheriff's badge and
whistling the theme to Gunsmoke as they patrol "their" streets, corrupting
the very streets they claim to protect.

Your methods are why I will continue to fight you and by no strange
coincidence, why you will lose.

Why troll and create problems?

If this comment was aimed at me then I would suggest that you take a reading
comprehension course.

No, not at all. Sorry, when I reread what I wrote it sounded like
that. It was meant for the original poster. That is what trolls do
to a good group.
