They're not both Universal. Shrek is Dreamworks.

....Got that ol' blender on High, huh?

Try throwing in that:
A) They're both Universal, who, unlike other studios, will stoop to
anything,
B) Universal genuinely believed VH was "Mummy 3" on name, director, and
franchise-formula alone, and "Mummy" got a cartoon,
and
C) So, is Shrek 3-D the same one that's at the Studios parks?

Derek Janssen (I mean, you don't see Disney going around putting Captain
EO on disk, and that one isn't even still playing!)

There's also a animated Chronicles of Riddick prequel coming out. Also by
Universal. Shrek and other DreamWorks dvds are distributed by Universal Home
Video although it may not state it on the dvd case.

Better than the endless releases of the same movie. How many more
versions of ID4 do we need?

That was Fox, and they're doing it to push "Day After Tomorrow" (Roland
Emmerich, you know!)

And they got the weasely-remarketing idea from Universal.

Derek Janssen (notice how it *keeps coming back* to that golden thread?)

Gee,,all i really wanted to know is if these prequels are any good,,not if
theyre sleazy marketing gimmicks.(of course, if these prequels show up on the
shrek 2 and van helsing dvds as special features, THEN i'll have no argument)
