Has a new Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid come out?

dvdverdict.com is showing Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid :
Special Edition coming out today, Tuesday, May 11th. I
already have this title, but amazon.com is listing the audio
as 5.1 (?). Is this "new" release identical to the previous
release with the exception of the inclusion of a 5.1 sound
option? Thanks!

DVD Empire shows it as being the same disc, with just a mono soundtrack.
(OTOH, they also show it as due for release on 20 May, which is a Thursday,
so take this with the relevant-sized grain of salt.)

I've heard nothing about a new edition with a 5.1-channel remix. My bet
would be that it's just a re-pricing of the existing disc.
