I have gone to groups and tried to look this up, but perhaps I am putting in
the wrong keywords... We are trying to make back up copies of our disc, and purchased DVD copy xpress. I guess now, we have found out that it doesn't copy the menu/etc? So now, my question is, can anyone recommend a program (shareware/freeware preferably, but will pay) to be able to do this? We tried to make a copy of our lodoss war dvd, and it only copied a little, then stalled. Same with some of the other dvd's that we have. Our only "option" was to run it past the menu, then copy. But my ranma 1/2 is in Japanese, with the option to have it subtitled into English... Thank you *very* much for any suggestions! Mary mary at meijhanadesigns dot com meijhana |

Use it's companion product DvdXcopy, or use something like DvdShrink to rip the disc to your hard drive and then something like Nero to burn your copy. drc Darrel Christenson |

You need to make "backups" so your kids won't destroy your originals... am I close? You don't need to back up a DVD. They're inexpensive. Claire D. Lune WPM |

That, my friend, is a distinction without a difference. Both copyright restrictions and region coding are mechanisms for protecting the corporate money stream. Nothing more, nothing less, and no difference. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- mercutio |

That's it WPM I'm sick and tired of this crap!

After all, you seem to be made of money and all so that $50 won't hurt you since DVDS are "inexpensive." -- Demolition Man Brian The Demolition Man Little |
