where to find more about HD Digital Video Recorder?

I like to learn more about HD Digitial Video Recorder.
Is there any discussion and forum about this?

I read the write up in Forbes (3-1-2004, page 84) about Dish Network's Dish
Player DVR 921 Personal Video Recorder.

I want to learn more. How can I transfer the recorded programs inside the HD
DVR to elsewhere, such as my computer? How can I back up the recorded
programs and where to?

Look for the digital VHS or D-VHS at JVC web site. It can record in
many digital formats including HDTV.

disc?
