I've been looking for a copy of 1932's Scarface and have read that the
collector's edition of DePalma's Scarface also contains the 32
version. Has anyone seen this and if so could you comment on it's
content/quality?

It's the third from the top (deluxe edition). Haven't seen it, so I can't
comment on the quality, but the box is lovely.
