Dennis Miller Rants About Widescreen DVDs

On Dennis Millers show (2/17/04), he ranted that watching a Letter Box
DVD is like watching a movie through a mail slot! He also said he
couldn't care less about the film maker's "Artistic License", and that
if Widescreen is so great, then why does Porn fill the screen?
Doesn't this guy have enough money to buy a Big Screen HDTV, and have
it properly set up? I thought Miller was supposed to be intelligent.
But, after hearing his little rant about Widescreen, I just don't
know.

Yeah well in a few years, he'll complain that watching a "fullscreen" DVD
is like watching a movie with blinders, when it won't display properly on
a widescreen TV. I mean, that is if he really said that about
widescreens.

I watched his new show a few days ago, and it's clear that 9/11 affected his
ability to entertain as well as his viewpoint.
