Default More Star Wars

I dont know if anyone read digitalbits today....but the "Well...Here we Go
again: Star Wars on DVD" article states that even though we are getting the
SE movies.....they may be still a bit different from what we saw back in
'97....George still might of tweaked them a bit. I know, I know, they are
not the movies we all grew up with...but if that is what we are going to
get...hopefully certain things were fixed (Who shoots first?)

Any thoughts?

I'm hoping the rumours of adding Padme and young Obi Wan are unfounded.
Oh, and younger Anakin

<excerpt from thedigitalbits.com>
"This is just my own personal preference, but if Lucas would just let
Han shoot first again, fix that awful Jabba CGI, and put glowing
blades on the sabers in the Ben/Vader duel, I'm fine with everything
else in the SEs. I don't know specifically that any of that is
actually going to happen, but I'm hopeful."

Whether you're a casual or intense SW fan, I think that sums up what
most of us would like out of these releases. All we can do is wait
and see, although I will say that I do plan to get a set regardless.

At the risk of getting flamed, I must admit that Greedo shooting first doesn't
bother me too much -- first time I saw it, it was over so fast I wasn't sure
what had even happened -- but that stupid robot that plonks the other one over
the head in Mos Eisley has GOT to go.

It's just a movie. I'll pick them up, they will round out my
collection nicely. To be fair, my copy of Return of the Jedi will
likely never see the inside of a DVD player by my hand, anyway.

Wow. Someone who takes the time to come to a group to discuss dvds and
he calls Star Wars just a movie.

Greedo shooting first has to go, I mean he must of been a crap bounty hunter
if he aims his gun for ages and still miss's by 2 foot.
If hes touching the films up again why not clean up the small things like
Ben opening his sader on the Death Star (crap transition)

Please tell me you're kidding.

Wait.... Why would a baby Jar Jar be in a movie set in a later time?

I'm sorry for this breach of netiquette, but I see this far
too often to ignore any longer...

It's not "might of". It's "might've", as in "might have".

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...
