Default Ultraman Tiga DVD

Has anyone gotten the ULTRAMAN TIGA dvds? i was wandering Bestbuy and
noticed them (in Anime section) and almost grabbed them. I've never
seen any of this series of Ultraman. So what's the word on them? i
grew up LOVING Ultraman (esp. ULTRAMAN TARO) and had books and tapes
of just about all members of the Ultraman family.

the only stuff i've seen of Ultraman Tiga is in Taiwan, where it was
dubbed in mandarin obviously. so i'm not sure about the storylines,
but the action was decent. pretty similar to the original series. i
had a student named "Tiga," actually, which was amusing (although not
as good as "Saurus"). i would suggest you just try to find DVDs of
the original series. "Tiga" just can't match the coolness of Shin
Hayata.

I purchased Ultra Man, the 1st 39 Episodes on 8 DVD's on E-Bay. They or
course are not dvd quality but are watchable.
