Columbia/TriStar will release the re-edited Booty Call as Booty Call
(Bootiest Edition) on April 13th. The film is presented in Dolby Surround audio with anamorphic 1.85:1 video. The reported extras are Filmmaker Commentary: Director Jeff Pollack, writers Takashi Bufford and Bootsie, as well as Jamie Foxx, Vivica Fox and Tommy Davidson will take you through the entire film, serving up boot-liscous factoids along the ride; Smooth Operator (Mini-Documentary): The filmmakers, cast members and other celebrities will share their personal stories and anecdotes of the "Botty Call". Analyzing pre-modern, modern and post modern booty call techniques; Alternate Ending: Old Folk's Home; Trailers. The retail price is 19.95. A&E home video will release Profiler: Season 3 on April 27th for a list price of $99.95. Universal has some good old fashion westerns from the golden age of Hollywood. On June 1st they are scheduled to release Albuquerque, No Name On The Bullet, The Plainsman (1937), The Spoilers (1942), War Arrow, When The Daltons Rode and Whispering Smith. All are listed as mono and full screen with a suggested cost of $14.98. Also due out from Universal on May 4th are a few comedies. Included are Adventures Of Ma And Pa Kettle #2 for $19.95 and Best Of Abbott & Costello #2 for $24.95. Universal has some boxed sets collectors of older films should find interesting. For those that like dog flicks there is K-9: Patrol Pack (K-9 / K-911 / K-9 PI) on May 4th in anamorphic video and Surround audio for $19.95. On The Road With Bob Hope & Bing Crosby Collection (Road to Morocco / Road to Zanibar / Road to Singapore / Road to Utopia) will be released also on May 4th for $24.95.June 1st brings Adventures Of Francis The Talking Mule which includes Francis The Talking Mule, Francis Goes To the Races, Francis Goes To West Point and Francis Covers The Big Town for $19.98. Finally from Universal on June 1st are Firestarter Two Movie Collection and Michael Flatley Collection (Lord Of The Dance / Feet Of Flames / Michael Flatley Gold), both listing at $19.98. Some anime is due out from Bandai Entertainment on April 27th including Infinite Ryvius: Change Of Command (V.4), Witch Hunter Robin: Fugitive, Arjuna: The Complete Collection, SD Gundam Force: Unknown Dangers, SD Gundam Force: Heroes United and Kaze No Yojimbo: A New Face In Town. A.D. Vision has Farscape Season #4: Volume #03 due out on March 23rd for $39.95 and Mutant X: Season 1: Volume 9 (Special Edition) due out on March 3rd for $19.98. Buena Vista as Scary Movie 3 set for release on May 11th. There will be both P&S as well as anamorphic video releases. Both have listed as extras; Deleted Scenes With Optional Commentary, The Making Of Scary Movie 3, The Making Of Scary Movie 3...Fore Real, Outtakes and Bloopers, Hulk vs. Aliens: Behind The Scenes Of The Alternate Ending, Feature Commentary With Director David Zucker, Producer Robert K. Weiss and Writers Craig Mazin and Pat Proft. The list price for either version is $29.99. Universal has a number of war and action flicks due out on DVD. On May 11th there is action with Shakedown, Renegades and Nighthawks. Films mostly to do with war in one way or another follows on May 25th. Included are Wake Island, To Hell And Back, Slaughterhouse-Five, No Man Is An Island, Gray Lady Down and Battle Hymn. All of the above flicks will retail for $14.98 and they look to be mono or stereo with full screen video. Brentwood has a large number of films due out on March 9th. In the genre of Action/Adventure there are Shaker Run, Dragon On Fire, Dragon Princess, Stunts, Return Of The Tiger, Angels Hard As They Come, The Big Trees, Image Of Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee Fights Back From The Grave, Street Fighter's Last Revenge, Last Days Of Patton, Bloodfight, Bodyguard (197 Eight Samurai. For horror fans Brentwood has some films that are often found on Cinemax late at night. In this batch are Cathy's Curse, Black Cobra Woman, Devil's Nightmare, Die Sister, Die, Good Against Evil, Kill, Baby, Kill, Swamp Women and Web Of The Spider. Rounding out this set from Brentwood are God's Gun, Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe, Getting Wasted, Slipstream, Graveyard Tramps. All of the Brentwood releases for this date will retail for $5.98 each. A few foreign language films, mostly Spanish, are due from Woodhaven. Most appear to be in Spanish but no mention of dubbing or subtitles was mentioned in the announcements. Look for Caminos De Michoacan 2, Cholos Vs Narcos, El Corrido Del Potro Lobo Gatiado, El Lechero Del Pueblo, Internado De Senoritas, La Revancha Del Silla De Ruedas, La Texana Maldita 2 and La Texana Maldita 2. All are set for February 10th with a suggested price of $14.95. On March 30th Rykodisc will release opera, music and special interest DVDs including Boikot: Historias Vistas De Boikot, Chicago Sings Gospel's Greatest Hymns/Back To Church, Dead Pigeon On Beethoven Street, Deitrick Haddon: Nu Hymnz Sing A Nu Song, Fortress Of Amerikkka, Lust For Freedom, Mago De Oz: Costa Da Rock, Mago De Oz: Finisterra Tierra Santa: Cuando La Tierra Toca El Cielo, Tigero: A Film That Was Never Made, Uncovered: The Whole Truth About The Iraq War, Vintage Erotica Anno 1930, Vintage Erotica Anno 1940, Vintage Erotica Anno 1950 and We Sing Gospel's Greatest Hymns.
