Hi All,
Just to really state the obvious, if anyone really wants Ed Wood, and has either a DVD-ROM, or PAL capabilities, order the R2 Euro release. Its going to be the same except they have no deleted scenes on ours, and should put you on until Buena Vista sort out whatever the problem is. Check out http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk for the cheapest prices. Obvious yes, but as a temp measure it beats $80 on ebay. Hope you all get lucky with local retailers tomorrow, but if not try the alternative. Mike Mike7883uk |

I did just that, yesterday, at the Amazon.com UK site. The order comes to roughly $28.00 including shipping, with an expected delivery date of around February 8th. This will only be viewable on my computer, but I'd rather do that than pay the prices that the R1 copies are getting on Ebay. Bill |

Or you can download DVD Region Free which allows you to change the region as many times as you want on most PC software that plays dvds. T.B. Thomas Bell |

NTSC R3, which is nice if you have a Sony 7000 with switches. Goro |

Shoot, wish I had known before ordering from Amazon U.K. I probably could have backed up the R3 version with DVD Shrink, removing the regional encoding, so it would have been playable on my standalone Panasonic player, which can only handle NTSC. I've bookmarked that site and plan to browse it later. It looks as if they have a lot to choose from, with reasonable shipping to the U.S.. Bill |

Or, alternatively, you can use patched firmware to remove the region code permanently, see www.rpc1.com. Then use DVDGenie from www.inmatrix.com to defeat the code in Windows and your DVD video playing software. Mischa Mischa van Dinter |
