Need Help With Studio 8

I'm trying to capture video from a VHS source, using a Dazzle DVC-80 analog
capture device. The video records, but when it is rendered and played back,
it plays at about twice the speed. I tried recording at 29 fps and then
burning at 14 fps, but then it comes out like a slide show. Is this a
compression issue? How should I set up the settings and format? I've tried
burning to DVD and SVCD, but both play back at what appears to be about
twice the actual speed.

Thanks much!
Max
