DVD PLAYER COLOR PROBLEM

Recently I purchased DVD/CD player and I conected it to my TV set (older
GOLDSTAR).
I used cable with SCART (on my TV) and RCA (on my DVD player) conectors for
video signal.
Problem is that I see only black&white. No color.
When I connect my DVD player to SAMSUNG TV set with the same cable, the
picture is OK.
It is obviously something wrong with my GOLDSTAR SCART conector, or it is
different SCART type.
Can I do something with my cable or with GOLDSTAR TV SCART connector?
Please, help!

I think your player is set to S-Video, and your TV (or the SCART
conection on the TV you are using, in case there are more than one on
it) does not support S-Video. Try another SCART connector on you TV if
available, otherwise set your player to something other than S-Video.
Try RGB, if your TV supports that, otherwise you have to use
composite.
