Just want to know if "The Two Towers" (Lord of the Rings) is being marketed
in the same way as the first. Are there two versions: one with the
theatrical version, and the other a 4-disc extended?

I loved the first movies' versions and look forward to this one. Am a bit
behind on it, but my interest was resparked when watching the recent ABC
documentary on it.

I noticed Amazon has an excellent price on what would seem to be the 4-disc
version, which is why I'm asking to confirm if I'm seeing things <g>. This
is an excellent bargain if so. Wonderful films. Peter Jackson and
cast/crew deserve major kudos for the trilogy. Looking forward to the
third.

Yes, as will the third film. TTT had 43 minutes of extended footage
added to the film on the 4-disc EE.

according to digitalbits.....Return of the Kind EE dvd will be 4 hrs long..
