I want to use my laptop PC to play DVD's because my DVD player is not
multi-region, but when I connect it via the AV3 S-Video input on my TV, the picture is blurred and poor quality. Is there anyway to connect the output from the PC to the TV and still get a decent quality? Can I use SCART RGB connections - and how would they be wired? Paul |

Is your laptop usually better at playing other video formats like Xvid or Divx?
Maybe it's the analog DVD protection? If so try getting rid of it. Use a ripper to copy movie to harddrive. I get a tremendous picture on the laptop, but the picture is blurry on the TV when connected via a s -video 4 pin lead. I have tried ripping it to the hard disk but the result is the same. I have tried ripping it to the hard disk, but it is still the same blurry picture when connected to the TV via a s-video 4 pin lead. Its clear on the laptop. Have I wired it OK?
