Pete,
Forgive me if this has been discussed in depth already, but I saw a teaser for 'Aliens v Predator' when I went to see 'Alien - DC' last night. Am I right in thinking that you famously scripted an idea for this a few years back? If so, is the new movie linked to you at all, or are they totally going it alone? Can't say I'm thrilled at the choice of director... Steve The Doctor Who Restoration Team Website http://www.restoration-team.co.uk Steve Roberts |

I just read the actual shooting script the other day. There are still things in there that resemble elements from my draft, but I'm sorry to say Mr Anderson has gone one way with it. Fox's paychecks go a large way to assuaging my sense of depression about this project. Peter Briggs |

It seems to have been very well received on the whole. I think you'll like the 'War of the Worlds' style heatray... >I just read the actual shooting script the other day. LOL! Yes, I bet they do. Presumably you will be credited as one of the writers? Steve The Doctor Who Restoration Team Website http://www.restoration-team.co.uk Steve Roberts |

Did Fox ever have any scripts for an AVP project before they picked yours up? I keep hearing rumours about a script from the late 80s(before the Dark Horse miniseries), but I can't find any solid info on it anywhere. Smaug69 Smaug69 |

I've been having a lot of amusement at the shooting draft. I wish I could give instances, but....you'd think Mr Anderson (oooh....I feel a patiche coming on!) would have paid a little more attention in places -- Peter Briggs |
