Hmm, I'll take a '57 Chevy over any car made today, hands down, thanks.

'57 Chevy? Pfft. I'd choose either a 1969 GT40 Mk II or a 1979 Dodge Charger Super Bee Two of the most awesome cars in history. I actually saw a GT40 Replica two days ago at the top of my street, and holy crap it sounded EXACTLY like I thought it would in real life; f***ing loud and harsh as a depressed rock singers voice.

Sounded harsh like the singer from Spineshank or Hatebreed or something. Nothing sounds quite like a beasty V8.

Hehe, I have a V8 in my Tahoe, a Vortec, Corvette C5 engine.

I'd still take the '57 Chevy, you can trick it out however you want and it's still the best looking car ever built, period. I'm not a big fan of Ford, they never appealed to me much with the exception of the Mustang or the Shelby Cobra. But I've always wanted a Candy Apple Red '57 chevy with a white ragtop, red and white interior and Krager mags. Can't even buy Kragers anymore. And I'd rather the big block V8 in there, not the lame V6.

I agree with the not being a fan of Ford thing, but it's different for you. Australian Ford, or "Tickford" as it's known in America, is just crap. American Ford has put out some beasts though. the only good Fords are the GT40 and Mustangs.

Never heard the term "Tickford", just such phrases as "Fix Or Repair Daily" and "Found On Road Dead".

Yeah, the G40 is a decent car, if you're into that kind of car, the Mustang is more universal and more of a muscle car. But other than those few, Ford doesn't have a lot of great cars.

My top 10 favorite cars of all time.

1. 1957 Chevy
2. 1938 Auburn
3. 1931 Deusenburg
4. 193x's Era Mercedes
5. 1948 Mercury
6. 1938 Cord
7. 1968 Corvette
8. 1969 Dodge Charger
9. 1969 Camaro
10. 1969 GTO "Judge"
