Fox Studio Classics updates
By now, most folks interested have probably found out that the DVD
release of "Laura" (1944) with Gene Tierney has been indefinitely postponed from its November 4, 2003, release date. In its place, Fox is moving up release of "The Ox-Bow Incident" (1943) by one month, from December 2 to November 4. I'm unaware of which title, if any, Fox Studio Classics will release in December. However, "My Darling Clementine" (1946) will be the January 2004 selection. The DVD will feature two cuts of the film a la Warner's DVD of "The Big Sleep" (1946). "The Grapes of Wrath" (1940), postponed from earlier this year, has now been rescheduled to be the April 6, 2004, selection in the Studio Classics line ... amazon.com is now accepting preorders. If anyone has any more info on the upcoming Fox Studio Classics schedule, I'd appreciate seeing it posted to the group. - Grey Cadet Grey |
