Default CGI DVD w/ Robot - Good as Reference DVD

Hi all,

Sorry, but this post is going to be abit vague. A while ago I saw a DVD in
a magazine that was good as a reference DVD. Basically it contained a short
film about robots. The film was CGI rendered.

Anyone have a clue which DVD I'm talking about? The DVD was mentioned in a
magazine I read and I'm sure I saw it online in a couple of dvd websites as
well.

Apparently it looks gorgeous on plasmas TVs.

Plasma TVs...the biggest scam in the home theater industry (currently).
Anyway, how would a CG movie be a good reference DVD? I assume by
reference you mean it's a good disc to calibrate your tv too? Or do you
just mean it looks real purdy? If you want a good movie to calibrate
your tv to, try The Thin Red Line, Lawrence of Arabia, or Spartacus.
Something live-action with a lot of realistic color tones (Lord of the
Rings looks really good but they did a lot of color enhancement so flesh
is sometimes blue or yellow or such).
