I want to get two Region 2 (PAL) DVD's from Amazon.com/uk. These DVD's are
not available in the USA (Ghostwatch and The Stone Tape). Is it possible to rip them to my hard drive and reburn them so I will be able to watch them on a US-NTSC television? What I have in mind is to rip the DVD with a DVD ripping program to my hard drive and them burn them to DVD-R. I know its possible to remove region coding but how about the PAL television standard? Why not invest in an "cheap" region free dvd player like the
Cyberhome which I purchased for $70 which would allow you to play any disc on your ntsc tv Nic wrote: > <> wrote in message > news:... > > On Thu, 11 Sep 2003 23:56:12 GMT, "SteveD61" > > <> wrote: > > > > >I want to get two Region 2 (PAL) DVD's from Amazon.com/uk. Not only that but get a DVD player that handles PAL. My Apex 600 and 660 both handle PAL no problems.
