Don't know about that.

Definitely the OOP 2 disc limited edition that had the original
theatrical cut and the extended version they shot for tv. There's an
auction going for it here if you wanna try getting it that way.

Hold on, what about the new edition with the original Criterion
Collection commentary track?

The color timing is WAAAAAAY off on the new "DiviMAX" edition. Check out
DVDfile.com's review for details. First Anchor Bay screwes up the "Day of the
Dead" audio, now they screw up "Halloween". Their next two major horror
releases are "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Dawn of the Dead". I shudder to think
of what they'll do to screw them up.

What? How do you know they screwed up the audio on Day of the Dead?
That's still a few weeks away from being released.

Two reviews: Horror Web's review and Fangoria's review both mention the dubbed
audio.

I read Fangoria's review and it was very positive. Ok, so a few spots in
the film have audio dubbed in from the tv version, but it's barely
noticable according to the reviewer. As long as the movie is completely
uncut, the video quality lives up to the Divimax label and there are
lot's of quality supplements, I'll be more than happy. I will however
say I'm a bit disappointed that there aren't any deleted scenes
included, but perhaps none exist...

Roll on the long awaited 3 disc version of Dawn of the Dead!
