Warner Brothers made several announcements recently. Set for July 29th are
Asteroids: Deadly Impact, Caillou:The Train Trip And Other Adventures,

as full screen and Dolby stereo. Except for Framed, which will run $24.98,
all have a suggested price of $19.98.

Most already know about this release set of titles but we finally got the
UPC verification in so they make it into the database. Fans of the classic
WB cartoons can look forward to Looney Tunes Golden Collection (Special
Edition), Looney Tunes: Stranger Than Fiction and Looney Tunes: Reality
Check due out on October 28th. Also on that date are Space Jam (2-Disc)
which will sport Dolby 5.1 audio and 1.85:1 anamorphic video.

Paramount is releasing more of their catalog as lower priced releases.
Although for some the initial announcements have indicated full screen I
spoke to a representative over at Paramount and it was confirmed that in
keeping with their 'commitment to original aspect ratios' most of the titles
will receive an anamorphic widescreen treatment. Of course this means that
films originally presented in 4:3 aspect will retain that for these
releases. This corrects the specifications previously announced for Browning
Version, Lipstick (both $9.9 and That Was Then This Is Now (1985) (for
$14.9. All of these titles are scheduled for release on October 14th. In
addition the newly announced titles are Dragonslayer (1981), Frankenstein
and the Monster from Hell and Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter for October
21st. Homecoming: A Christmas Story and Scrooge (1970) for September 23rd.

drama and other genre flicks. The titles announced so far are Giant Of
Marathon, International Crime, Desperate Cargo, Dragnet: Volume 2, Circus Of
Fear, Vampire Happening, Blood Lust, Scream In The Night, Bird Of Paradise,
Amazing Transparent Man, Jackie Robinson Story, Man On The Eiffel Tower,
