W98 (not SE) and wireless?

Hi,

On a desktop I run W98 and try to install a wireless network PCI card.
It does not work.
Now I see that W98 SE is needed. Is there a fix for this -except for
upgrading the OS-?

Unfortunately, if the card is only supported under 98 SE you will need to
upgrade.
