Hi
They are Not inherently related. In most cases, it is controlled by the ISP server. To save on Bandwidth, and to discourage people from using Internet Servers at home, the Upload speed to the Internet (from your system out) is usually smaller than the Download. When you subscribe to a Broadband Internet service, the contract defines the Speeds. If you need more Upload Bandwidth, you can contact your ISP and buy a more expensive contract. The upload and download speeds will be different or 'asynchronous' if you
are using an Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL). In the UK Upload speeds are 256Kbps on all products. -- All the best, Ryan Younger. http://spaces.msn.com/members/wirelessnetworking/ - Ryan's Wireless Networking Weblog "vasavi" <> wrote in message news: oups.com... > Hi all, > > can anyone tell me, is there any relation exists among upload/download > speeds and available bandwidth. if so, wat is that and wat is the main > difference among those. > > Thanx inadvance, > vasavi > Ryan Younger |

Remember, the lines were upgraded to 1 or 2Mbps (depending on who your with) a couple of months ago? -Marc marcfinnwilson@hotmail.com |
