Has anyone tried faster CF Compact Flash cards - e.g. 40x, or WA (write
accelerated) CF cards? I would appreciate your experience before shelling

I have a Nikon 5700, which apparently is not tied into the WA scheme, but I
imagine the 40x etc higher speed would help when writing (esp. "raw" of
tif) to the card.

Brands? Lexar, Sandisk, ... other?

Only the Nikon DSLRs support WA.
