After not using this camera for a while, I find that my computer (Windows XP
Home) will not recognise it as a mass storage device.
I get a 'new hardware found wizard when i turn the camera on and follow
instructions till I get a message saying 'the file ;ptpusd.dll' on (Un
known) is needed' type the path where the file is located ETC.
I can't find the file anywhere.
I downloaded and installed drivers from Nikon.co.uk still no joy, any ideas?

I have one too. Have you set it to mass storage in the menus of the
E2500? My guess is that you have it on PTP instead of Mass Storage.

Just get a reader for you pc. It is faster than downloading from the camera
