can buy me a CF card cheaper than I can buy one here, but she can't find a
store that stocks these high end cards.

She can buy it on the web and have it in a few days. You probably could buy
it also from US source and have it shipped down under.

Best Buy. There is at least one in Columbus and another in
nearby Dayton. They carry all models from Lexar and
Scandisk, often they have pretty good sales.
