OziPhotoTool 2.1 has been released and is ready for download from
http://oziphototool.alistairdickie.com. Version 2.1 incorporates the two
most asked for features, embedding GPS EXIF tags in images, and generating
HTML pages with maps with hotspot links to images.
In addition to a few small bug fixes the new features are:
-The new OziAPI associated with OziExplorer version 3.95.3e has allowed an
interface to save OziExplorer maps with waypoints on them as images and
determine the pixel locations of waypoints. This has allowed enhanced HTML
generation to include javascript pages with maps and hotspots. An example is
located at
http://oziphototool.alistairdickie.com/fancyhtml.
-Enhanced HTML generation allows the creation of multiple index pages and
"thumb" lines within them. This allows for frame page creation.
-Two new HTML templates have been added.
-A range of string replacement codes to support enhanced HTML support have
been added (@map for the saved OziExplorer map,@pointX and @pointY for the
pixel locations of waypoints)
-Embedding of GPS EXIF tags in geo located photos is now supported through
the ability to run third party applications in the generation process.
editexif.exe is included in the distribution with permission of the author
(see
http://www.hugsan.com/EXIFutils)
-A range of string replacement codes to support embedding GPS EXIF tags.
-The help file is updated
The free version is limited to processing five images in one generation
event. Commercial and Government users are required to register. Private
users are encouraged to register. Registering OziPhotoTool by filling out
the form at
http://oziphototool.alistairdickie.com/download and paying a
small fee will remove the restriction of processing only five images in a
generation event.
The next updated I intend to make is the ability to read other track file
formats. If you have a particular format that you want read please let me
know.

Alistair Dickie
