a great camera. I bought mine five years ago, took 4,000 photos
in four years and sold it April this year to a mate..... and he still
talks to me. I did get myself two replacement NP80's but only because
they were going cheap. However I did notice that the original battery
didn't take very long to recharge. Maybe it's capacity was reducing.
I'd certainly try a new battery first. Have you tried using the camera
while it is on charge? I think that is possible. Also you might try a
complete re-boot by removing the battery for several hours and let
things completely reset. Write down you settings before you do this,
just incase.
