Is the D30 worthwhile?

Come to think of it. I've already decided that the D30 is a useless
piece of ****. Why the **** should I buy another outdated camera,
considering all of my other cameras are dinosaurs. I guess I will wait
until I can afford the Digital Rebel. The problem is that I am a
broke, cheap bastard.

Only in the hands of a lousy photographer.

Because it still outperforms compact digicams by a wide margin in terms of
image quality.

Regardless of which one you go for, you'll still need an additional
investment for lenses - and flash, eventually.

Umm,

If you already decided the D30 is a "useless piece of ****" (I'd be
interested to hear on what grounds, and when it became that) then why ask ?

Rob.

Ah, explains the sudden change of manner - I never thought to look at the
headers. No problem. Did you get any further with your decision ?

Rob.
